Who am I, the person behind the name Buchhuis:

B U C H H U I S

After many years I have take up mu brush , palet and canvas to paint again. Not only abstract painting, but Artphoto too. I love to be creativ and explore my inner talents of expression myself true art. I have alwas been an artist, but most of my life it hase been on the stages in many diffrent theaters in Norway, Sweeden and Icland. To make a diffrence from my past life as a balletdancer, I wanted to create an artist name for my new way of expression, tru abstract painting and photoart. When I cant afford to by new blanck canvasses, I use my camera and Piccas 3 Photo workshop to play with my photos which I take with my mobilephone ore a real camera. I like the result, because colors matters to me and structures. Others can take more better photos than me, but I use what I have , and ad colors and structures which I find besutiful. The atmophere of the picture is most importent to me, not the perfection of nature.

What have inspired me is: Japanese caligraphy, flower arrangment, dance and music. I am not a great poem writer , but when I paint abstract paintings I make poesi ore a Haiku.

I never went to  an universety of art, but I have had teachers like Tor Hoff in my younger years. I dont want to go to any academy, because then my own personality might disapair tru others influence. Many  great artist never went to any school, but found there own way, following there born in talent ore gift.

My Road is my goal, and my color is my feelings, and the art is my dance and heart in a new expression.
